ROAD PLANING

ROAD PLANING

Sow Civils and Surfacing provides road planing as a cost-effective alternative to excavating the full thickness of an existing material and relaying it in multiple layers.

Tarmac, asphalt, concrete and resin bound surfaces can all be milled to a specified depth and then overlaid with new material.

We undertake projects of all types and sizes including:
Full-width planing on car parks, roads, footpaths etc.
Milling potholes, patches, alligator cracks and other defects
Matching uneven pavement surfaces
Cutting drainage and utility trenches

Planed tarmac and asphalt can be recycled and used in a variety of different ways. Our clients therefore benefit from reduced disposal costs in addition to the savings they will already be making by reducing the quantity of new surfacing material required.

We can carry out planing work as part of a re-surfacing contract or we can supply our clients with plant and labour to deliver their own contracts.

We hold all the relevant insurances and are NRSWA licensed to undertake work in the public highway.

Method Statements, Risk Assessments, licences and company policies are all available upon request.
