SURFACING

SOW Civils and Surfacing provides a range of Tarmacadam (Bituminous Macadam) and Asphalt surfaces suitable for a variety of applications.

Our aim is to always provide a best-value solution that satisfies our client’s visual, functional and budgetary requirements.

We supply and lay both British Standard and proprietary mixes including Asphalt Concrete, Stone Mastic Asphalt, porous/open graded material and coloured surfacing.

We undertake both new-build and maintenance contracts of all sizes ranging from potholes, patches and utility reinstatements to the surfacing of car parks, roads and footpaths.

We operate hand-lay teams for smaller jobs or where site conditions dictate, and machine gangs for larger areas.

In addition to laying a tarmac or asphalt surface, we can carry out any associated hard landscaping elements including excavations, grading, sub-base installation, drainage, kerbing, ironwork and line markings.

We also offer planing as a cost-effective alternative to excavating the full thickness of the existing material and relaying it in multiple layers.

As well as contract work, we can supply our clients with plant and labour on a daywork basis to deliver their own contracts.

We hold all the relevant insurances and are NRSWA licensed to undertake work in the public highway.
